Thank you for your interest in joining Basildon Borough Council. As Chief Executive, I’m delighted to welcome you to what I believe is a truly exciting time for our organisation.
We are recruiting for three new Executive Director roles; Resources & Governance, Homes, Communities & Environment, and Strategy, People & Transformation. These roles will shape our strategic direction and also offer the opportunity to work closely with me and the wider leadership team in shaping how we operate and deliver for our residents.
As your line manager, my commitment is to support you in thriving professionally and personally. You’ll be joining a leadership team that values collaboration, innovation, and integrity. I believe in empowering our senior leaders to take ownership, challenge convention, and lead with authenticity. Thank you for considering this opportunity to join Basildon Borough Council. As Leader of the Council, I’m proud to invite you to be part of a bold and transformative journey.
